DIRCTIONS COMING FROM TOULOUSE
In Toulouse take motorway
A64 direction to TARBES / LOURDES after 47 kms: Exit N°23
CAZERES Go to Cazères. In Cazères
follow signs to STE. CROIX (VOLVESTRE) After crossing the bridge
over the Garonne River in Cazères, roundabout traffic, still follow
signs to Ste. Croix , D6 (do
NOT follow the Fabas sign) Go ahead to the next
village “LE PLAN” (about 5 kms). There go straight (D6), follow
signs to Ste. Croix (NOT Fabas) After about 4 kms, you will
cross the ARIEGE departement border ( two brown and white signs, saying
“Pyrenees Ariegeoise” ) After the 2nd sign, take
the SMALL bridge on the right side. Signs
“Moulin des Pres” and “La Chalaguere” Go straight for about 3,5
kms (on your left you will already see the Château’s tower and
roofs). After the property called “Verrerie d’en Haut”, when
leaving the woods, take the next narrow little road on your left. There
is a small white sign “POUDELAY” and a green “Gites de France”
sign. Follow this private road
until you arrive at the castle.
Coming from Foix Take direction to St. Girons Just before entering to St. Girons -> roundabout traffic Take direction to Ste. Croix Volvestre Go straight do Ste. Croix -> pass through the village, follow
signs to Cazeres. Approx. 4 km after Ste. Croix : left hand side SMALL bridge, signs
"Moulin des pres" and "La Chalaguere" (if you are
coming to the "Haute-Garonne" departement border you went too
far, you must go back and take the next right) Go straight for about 3,5 km (on your left you will already see the
Château’s tower and roofs). After the property called “Verrerie
d’en Haut”, when leaving the woods, take the next narrow little
road on your left. There is a small white sign “POUDELAY”. WELCOME !
