The Château

This peaceful Château, first built in 1544 by a famous family of glass manufacturers, was often modified until at the end of the 19th century, by adding the southwestern wing with the impressive tower, it looks as it does today.

Napoléon III used to stay in this romantic Château when he was travelling to Spain. One suite was always on his disposal, it's our "Chambre Napoléon".

What makes it so special...

16th century kitchen with huge fireplace and original floor tiles

16th century dining room with antique wall covering and
marble chimney. This is the room where our "candlelight dinner" is served.

"Le Grand Salon", built in 1907, with its monumental chimney,
"Art Nouveau" wall covering, mosaic terrazzo floor

"Le Petit Salon" with original 19th century artistic wallpaper, monumental chimney and wall reliefs "Peace and War"

19th century chapel in gothic style, with all original furnitures and a white marble altar. It is possible to rent the Chapel for private wedding ceremonies

(The "Grand Salon" is not heated in the winter time)
